Chasson Guitars Newsletter, June 2011 |
There is a lot going on this year. Shop renovations, guitars going all over the world, another Healdsburg Guitar festival to get ready for. Thanks for helping it along! |
New Dealer
Last year, Trevor Moyle of The Acoustic Music Company in Brighton, England asked me if I would like to have a dealer in the UK. Trevor specializes in luthier-built (as opposed to factory-built) American guitars. This Spring, I sent him this Adirondack/Sapele Dreadnought and I'm working on a Flamed Maple Jumbo for delivery in the fall. |

I recently received a wonderful recording of one of my guitars. The player is Peter Skandera from New Zealand and he is playing his Classic in Cedar and Walnut. Have a listen. |

This Engelmann Spruce/East Indian Rosewood Classic will be on its way to Mandolin Brothers in a couple of weeks. They also have a Parlor of mine. |
I will be exhibiting again at the 2011 Healdsburg Guitar Festival, August 12-14. Expect the usual array of world class instruments, workshops and Sonoma Valley hospitality. They put on a great event. You can see one of the instruments I'm building for the show in progress here. |
